Two clubs, one Saturday, no second chance. Entry fees, sponsor pledges, walk-up cash, raffle tickets, retail sales at the counter, and the scoring on the line all arrive through different doors on the same day. The usual answer is a form service, a payment link, paper scorecards, and a spreadsheet someone reconciles the following week — and those pieces never fully agree. That's tolerable right up until someone has to name a number on the donation check and defend it.
One platform covering every surface the event touched: registration and payment, sponsor pledges, dedications rotated live on a TV at the range, and end-by-end scoring from a tablet with live standings by division. Payments ran through Stripe, with the webhook as the source of truth so a redelivered event couldn't double-count; everything else — cash, walk-ups, raffle, retail — fed the same ledger, tagged by method and by club. Admin login was email and password with scrypt-hashed credentials and revocable sessions, scoped so each club saw only its own registrations.
The event ran on it. Sponsors pledged without being chased, the line was scored digitally, and the standings were known at the awards instead of a week later. Afterward the same data produced a line-by-line ledger of every dollar collected — entry fees, side pot, pledges, online gifts, cash, raffle, and retail — with unpaid pledges broken out separately rather than folded into the total. The ledger reconciled the gap between the running live tracker and the final count, accounted for the raffle payout owed to its winner, and priced in the processor fees still to come out. The organizers cut the donation check against a figure they could defend line by line.
